Rusty is a lovely lady looking for a new home due to no fault of her own.
Rusty wandered into her owners workplace, and her story follows...
Her name is Rusty and she found me about 15 months ago when she turned up at the gate of my work place dragging a 2 & 1/2 kilo chain. She was skin and bone - could count every rib.
The vet said she was about 4 kilos under weight at 16 kilos. She has since been well fed and weighs 20 kilos which is correct for her age/breed.
She has a lovely temperament (you could stroke and pat her all day!) and is good with other dogs. I have never known her to nip at all and I am sure she was just chained in a yard and not trained for cattle work.
Rusty's home cannot provide the safety and companionship she needs and she is looking for a home that has sme room but a well fenced secure yard to play in. She is social with other nice dogs and people. She would love some company but doesn't seem to complain to be at home whilst you are at work.
Rusty's only fault is that she likes to have a walk and has taken herself at times but this is not desirable. She however has never been taught to walk nicely on a lead, which can be taught at this age with proper guideance.
