Jess is wary of other dogs and acts in a defensive way when she first meets them because she has not had much socialisation with other dogs. Having said that, she is currently living with a male Labrador and they get along really well. She obviously acknowledges that the other older dog is the boss and doesn’t try to challenge this. They enjoy each other’s company and do not fight.

Similarly, Jess has not had a great deal of contact with children but she is currently being cared for by a family member who have two young girls. The family also have frequent visitors and there are children around often. She is happy to play with children and loves attention. She will fetch a ball or toy thrown for her endlessly.

Unfortunately Jess needs to find a new home due to her owners accomodation situation.
