To many CJ might not be the best looking boy on the block but his personality and gentle, affectionate nature more than make up for his strange whiskered facial expressions.

He is a happy, loving boy, excellent with adults & children of all ages.  CJ likes nothing more than to just be with you either by your side wanting pats and cuddles or just watching you from a sunny spot in the yard, he is a very soft natured new age fella.  He travels well in the car and loves going for drives.

He is not given to digging holes, jumping fences or excessive barking. He is friendly & playful towards female dogs but can be a bit of a stirrer where other male dogs (neutered or entire) are concerned though he shows no agression towards them he just tries to make out he's bigger & better looking than they are. CJ appears to be housetrained, he's a very clean boy in his dog run but because of his dislike of cats I can't bring him into the house & put him to the test, he also thinks it might be fun to chase the poultry. 

He loves to go for walks but needs a bit more work on 'heeling' he gets so excited & has to see everything & be everywhere all at once he tends to drag you along on his adventure. He happily sits when asked to & doesn't dive into the food bowl, he has nice table manners.  He is a bit fussy where dry dog food is concerned, unfortunately he prefers canned food & isn't terribly fussed about bones but does enjoy a 'farrells' biscuit (or equivilent) to help keep his gums healthy & teeth clean.

It took CJ a while to settle in with us mainly because he was very ill with kennel cough & the fact that he had come into a 'family' kennel situation which is par for the course when you have in excess of 13 ACD's at any given time, he also had to come to terms with the fact that his original owners of 4 yrs put him in the pound for who knows what reason, he is a very devoted & faithful boy.  

CJ is adorable & would love to have a new family of his own to share his life with.
