Jacko is a friendly boy who is extremely bright, athletic and energetic. In the right hands he will become someone's best mate. Jacko is very affectionate and knows how to sit and come to his name (well most of the time, we are working on that). He has fantastic doggy social skills and is very tolerant of other dogs and will instigate a game at any opportunity. Jacko was handed into the pound because he wanted to chase things - not unusual for a herding dog mix, but certainly he will improve with kind consistent training. While not aggressive, Jacko is a good little watch dog and will alert you to strangers approaching.  Jacko would excel at flyball, agility or obedience. He would also be fine as a companion as long as he had another dog for company and had regular exercise.
